What Affects The Price

Why Prices Differ Across The Range

Four things drive the price of a window, and once you understand them you can read any window quote you are handed — ours or anyone else's.

  • Size. Price scales with the glass area. This is the single biggest factor, and it is why a standard size costs materially less than a made-to-order one.
  • Glazing. Double glazing costs more than single because of the second pane, the sealed cavity and the spacer.
  • Frame depth. A 100mm thermally broken section uses more aluminium than a 55mm frame, which is a large part of why the 100mm awning window is priced above the 55mm.
  • Glass specification. Low-E coating and argon fill add cost, and that is exactly where you get the best thermal performance per dollar.

Hardware and screens follow from the product type — mesh flyscreens are standard on our double glazed sliding and awning windows and on all the doors.

Our double glazed range runs from $280 ex GST for a 600H × 1800W fixed window up to $2,450 ex GST for a large double glazed stacking door. Sliding windows start at $310 for 600H × 600W, and the most common sizes sit in the $350–$700 range. The full list of every size is published on this page.
Yes, all prices are ex GST. We will add GST for you if you need it for a quote or an invoice, and we can also quote delivered pricing to your suburb on request.
Because we sell direct from the factory outlet rather than through a showroom. There is no dealer margin and no showroom floor to maintain built into the price. We also hold stock rather than ordering to order, which means we do not pay to hold non-moving inventory that gets passed on to you.
No, the published prices are supply only. We can arrange installation through our installer network, and we will quote that separately and clearly before you commit to anything.
Yes on the double glazed sliding and awning windows and on all the doors — those are supplied with stainless steel mesh screens as standard. Single glazed sliding windows are also supplied with a flyscreen included.
